Japanese Edgar Releases
In 1992, Sony Japan released a CD entitled Mid-Summer Blossoms 2. Featured on the CD were 10 songs by 5 artists (2 each) which included Bobbie Kimball, Dr. John, Taj Mahal, Leon Russell and, of course, Edgar Winter! The songs were unique, never heard in the states or released on any other projects. We are thrilled to be able to share Edgar's two cuts with you here. Of course, we aren't versed in Japanese, and so we aren't able to tell you the actual titles as they are in Japanese on the cover...but, for the sake of pure entitlement, we're going to name them for you! One is called You Take My Blues Away....while the other, we've named A Man In Love. We know you're going to enjoy these two very special and rare gems! If you have the opportunity, pick up the entire CD...it's loaded with GREAT music!
