Edgar and Rick perform Frankenstein

Channel Three - MTV'S Frankenstein '84 Video - 1984

This is a very rare copy of Edgar's Frankenstein '84 Video that aired on MTV in 1984. This could be Edgar and Monique's ONLY acting role together. A lot of fun on this discofied remix.

Channel Four - Arsenio Hall Show

Edgar's appearance on The Arsenio Hall Show, 1990 for the Earth Day Celebration. Edgar performs "Cry Out" from the Mission Earth CD.

Channel Eight - Rick Dee's "Into the Night"

This is a great clip from a 1990 filming of Rick Dee's "Into The Night", in which Edgar and Rick Derringer perform "Free Ride" and then sit down for a short interview.

Channel Nine - Netherworld

Here's a clip from Edgar's first film appearance in the horror movie "Netherworld", released in 1991. The promotional package states..."There is a place between Heaven and Hell"...and we think it's somewhere in the swamplands of Louisiana! Edgar not only performed live (along with David Bryan from Bon Jovi) in this film, but most of the movie's soundtrack features some great Edgar music. Both the film and the soundtrack are must have collectors items for avid Edgar Winter fans. This clip is racy, and we have to give it an "R" rating...so hide the kiddies under the covers!.

Part 2 - We've also got a trailer from the filming of Netherworld, where both Edgar and David Bryan are interviewed about their work in the film.

Channel Ten - Politically Incorrect

Edgar appeared on Politically Incorrect on July 20 of 1999. This first clip the topic was the lawsuit against General Motors in which GM was sued for over 4 billion dollars.

Part 2 - In the second clip, the topic dealt with compensation to employees of nuclear facilities that had become ill and how it should be handled.

Channel Eleven - EWG TV Special

This is a television special produced by Edgar and Rick Derringer in the 1970's. Some great footage here! Rick interviews Edgar on several topics...and there are performances by the Edgar Winter Group (at that time Edgar, Dan Hartman, Chuck Ruff and Jerry Weems) playing "Keep Playing That Rock and Roll" and "Frankenstein" as well as Edgar going solo on the grand piano for a great rendition of one of his own all time favorite tunes, "Dying To Live". This is some fun film...so don't miss it!

Channel Twelve - Star Kid

Edgar re-recorded Steppenwolf's "Magic Carpet Ride" for the 1996 Trimark Pictures film, "Star Kid". We've got the film clip where a portion of the song was used...right here for your online viewing! To hear the complete song, we suggest you pick up the "Star Kid" soundtrack....it's a good one!

Channel Thirteen - America's Millenium Celebration

Edgar was invited by President Bill Clinton and family, to perform at "America's Millenium Celebration" December 31, 1999/ January 1, 2000...on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial. The three hour show was hosted by Will Smith, produced by Quincy Jones, and featured an all star cast from just about every field of entertainment. In this first clip, Edgar performed with John Fogerty of Creedence Clearwater Revival. The other two clips here were of the finale, where Edgar and many other musical stars, including Slash, Tom Jones and more, joined together to close out the show. The entire show was televised on CBS...with later re-broadcasts done on the Discovery Channel thru-out the New years weekend.

Channel Fourteen - VH-1's Edgar Winter "Where Are They Now" Segment

In May of 2000, VH-1 Premiered the long awaited Where Are They Now segment on Edgar Winter. We were proud to provide MTV with most of the photographs used for the show, which came from our extensive photo galleries here at the Edgar Winter Fan Site. This is, in our opinion, some of the best footage available here at Edgar TV. We hope you enjoy!
